PAST EVENTS
OCA-Greater Washington DC: Asian Mid-Autumn Moon Festival (September, 2022)
Through partnership with AALEAD, OCA-DC interns coordinated a large event with an attendance of ~100 on Capitol Hill to highlight the role of education at the K-12 level and celebrate the Asian Mid Autumn Festival.
This event offered time to gather and celebrate the many tremendous contributions of leaders in the AANHPI communities including leaders in Congress and from the community. It included cultural programming and remarks from community and local leaders to speak on emerging ideas to address key issues faced by the AANHPI communities.
