About OCA-DC Chapter

The Organization of Chinese Americans, Greater Washington, DC Chapter (OCA-DC) was organized by Kung Lee Wang, and now covers the District of Columbia and Montgomery and Prince Georges counties in the state of Maryland. OCA-DC is the largest of all OCA chapters with over 200 dues-paying memberships (including families).

This web site is more than just an electronic version of our traditional newsletter. It includes among its goals the following:

  1. To preserve our environment by using less paper and newsprint. How you can do your part.
  2. To conserve our organization's precious financial resources.
  3. To relay information to our members in a more timely manner.
  4. To foster closer relationships with all our fellow chapters.
  5. To reach out beyond our membership and borders to all who care about the Asian Pacific American (APA) community.
